Valerie Thea Vandermeer
Founder and Director
Valerie is the visionary and Founder of both EarthWalk for highly aware (www.earth-walk.net)
and the EarthWalk school. She has extensive background and experience in
both traditional business and alternative, holistic education. She is a
gifted spiritual educator and intuitive holistic healer with more than 4,000
hours of professional training in healing, body language, and human nature.
Valerie has developed curriculum and presented workshops for adults and
children on aware parenting, “new paradigm” education, sensitivities in
children, shamanism, holistic healing, meditation, breathing techniques,
massage therapy, the power of nature, and enlightened business practices.
Her parenting and educational approaches have gained national attention and
she’s been published as a contributing author to Raising a Psychic Child (Findhorn
Press); and Edgar Cayce on Intuitive Children: Heralds of the New
Consciousness (A.R.E. Press, Fall 2004 Catalog) as
well as articles in Children of the New Earth, Spirit in the Smokies, and
others.
Valerie developed much of her EarthWalk approach while parenting and home
schooling her own gifted, highly aware daughter. She recognized the
limitations inherent in common educational systems and synthesized her own
method of schooling out of many different alternative and holistic theories.
She is passionate about fostering positive global change by supporting the
development of balanced, capable, secure children able to successfully meet
the physical, mental and spiritual challenges of the coming century with
grace and ability.
