The Facilitator Training Program has been established to fill a need for Facilitators to bring EarthWalk methods and programs into local communities. As part of your training, you will be instrumental in establishing and supporting a local EarthWalk parenting group.

Graduation is subject to the successful completion of the program and recommendation from the Instructors for Certification. Upon completion and Certification, participants are approved to represent themselves as EarthWalk Level I Facilitators and may present Level I programs and activities for financial reimbursement according to the guidelines set forth in the Level I Facilitators Agreement.

The tuition for this training program is $1,400.

Required tuition payments are as follows:

            Deposit upon acceptance                $ 150

            Due before February 1, 2006          $ 550

            Due before May 15, 2006               $ 700

Or you may opt for a discounted early bird enrollment of $1,300 if paid in full upon acceptance.

If you are accepted into this program you should be prepared for two to five hours of coursework, projects or interactions weekly. Monthly one hour tele-classes will be held on the third Tuesday of each month, from Febraury 21^st through October 17th, 2006.. The following time schedule has been established to accommodate program participants around the world.

Los Angeles  1:00 pm

London           9:00 pm

Brisbane        7:00 am (Friday)

Participants will also receive ongoing self study materials, assignments, and engage in scheduled and informal online exchanges. Participants will receive two ½ hour phone appointments with Valerie Thea Vandermeer for personal consultation and direction. Participants are responsible for all phone toll charges to participate in tele-classes or phone consultations.

Participants are required* to attend the following weekend programs:

March  4 – 5, 2006 and October 21 – 22, 2006

Saturday 10 am – 8 pm, Sunday 10 am – 5 pm

The costs of these weekend trainings are included in the program fee, however, the costs for transportation, hotel room, food and incidentals are not included and must be paid directly by participants.

*Participants living too far to travel may discuss possible alternate arrangements to fulfill program requirements. Alternate arrangements may not result in full certification.
